Antibiotic and anti-diarrheal used to treat bacterial enteric infections (i.e. Salmonella, Shigell, Alcaligenes Faecalis, E. Coli, Proteus and Staphylococcus Aureus) in dogs. Most of the dose is not absorbed by the gastrointestinal tract, providing bactericidal action at the site of infection.
