
Kevin Speltz: President and CEO
Kevin has over 25 years of experience in the animal health industry, joining Phoenix Pharmaceutical in March of 1987. He was named president in 2000 after managing sales and marketing for nine years and serving as vice president for four. Kevin has been president of Clipper Distributing since 2002, when the company was formed. Kevin's experience in animal health also includes six years as a sales representative for Durvet. Kevin has an MBA from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Kevin was raised on a dairy farm in southeastern Minnesota and has been involved with animal health literally his entire life.
Brandon McKibben: Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Brandon's responsibilities include oversight of the financial, information technology, warehousing, and human resource functions of the company. He has more than 12 years of experience in finance and has worked with both publicly and privately held corporations. He has been involved with public IPO's, acquisitions, and business combinations, both in the US and internationally. He has an extensive treasury background and has led several key projects within the organization that have been instrumental to its success. Brandon has a Bachelor's degree in accounting and an Executive Master's of Business Administration, both from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas.
Fred Windhorst: National Accounts Manager
Fred has over 25 years of experience in animal health sales, marketing, and operations. He came to Clipper Distributing in November of 2007 after many years of sales and business operations experience with a top ten distributor in ethical distribution. Fred started his animal health sales and marketing career after growing up on a large row crop and livestock farming operation in southwest Iowa. He is a graduate of Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri, with a major in business and marketing.
Scott Collins: National Accounts Manager
Scott has 17 plus years in animal health sales and marketing at both the manufacturing and distribution level. Scott started at the field level, working for companion animal, mixed animal, and equine specific animal health manufacturers. He is instrumental in the field training process, working with both individual sales representatives providing product training in a one-on-one environment and also in larger scale product training at the national sales level. His marketing contributions include joint efforts with manufacturing suppliers designing marketing programs tailored to their needs as well as development of marketing programs focused on the specific needs of our distributor partners. Scott has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas.
Jim Miller: Purchasing and Regulatory Affairs Manager
Jim has over 25 years experience in purchasing and operations management with five plus years in the animal health industry. Jim’s responsibilities include all procurement activities—including acting as a liaison between purchasing and sales to coordinate marketing efforts. Jim’s responsibilities also include oversight of customer service, inventory, and regulatory matters. Jim attended Missouri Western State University in Saint Joseph, Missouri.
